About the role

We are seeking an experienced and driven External Sales Person to join the team at Pump Systems Group. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients across VIC, NSW, QLD, TAS. The office is based in Bayswater VIC.

What you'll be doing

Identifying and prospecting new potential customers within the sales territory

Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers

Understanding customer needs and requirements to provide tailored solutions

Preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations and proposals

Providing excellent pre- and post-sales customer service

Collaborating with the wider sales team to share best practices and support each other

Achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets

What we're looking for

Proven track record of success in an external sales role, preferably within the Pump industry, however not essential

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients

Ability to identify customer needs and craft tailored solutions

Strong negotiation and closing skills

Driven, ambitious and target-oriented with a commitment to exceeding sales goals

Enthusiastic and passionate about delivering an outstanding customer experience

Flexibility to work independently and as part of a team

Engineering background and industry experience preferred, however not essential
