About the Role
Based within the Sustainable Supply Chain team of our Certifications business, which incorporates Environment, Social Compliance, Textiles, Tourism and Waste Management, the post holder will work closely with clients seeking to achieve their objectives related to best practice, sustainability, and environmental and social footprint.
They will primarily be responsible for conducting audits against a range of accredited and bespoke standards, engaging with specialists as required.
The office is based in Docklands, VIC; however, the Auditor will travel domestically, visiting client sites as required. Travel overseas may also be required. As such, the Company are flexible on the successful candidate's location.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out research and preparation to plan assigned work scopes which may span whole supply chains from manufacturing to retailing and across industries e.g. textiles and tourism.
Inspect and perform audits to ensure compliance with applicable regulations (GOTS, RAF, GRS, RCS, SMET, GSTC etc) as well as other sustainability / certification / and client bespoke standards.
Communicate with employees, colleagues, clients and supply chain specialists, on specific work scopes, receiving and providing technical support as required.
Ensure all client enquires are handled in a timely manner and provide excellent customer service, acting as their key account manager.
Prepare audit reports within target timeframe and provide regular updates as required.
Conduct marketing and business development activities as required.
Work closely with colleagues to ensure a quality and efficient service, playing an active part in team meetings.
Stay up to date with developments concerning technological advancements and legislative changes across sustainable textiles, environmental and social compliance.
Extensive travel across Australia and New Zealand (>50% of the time).
About You - Experience, Skills, Requirements & ANZ Working Rights

Passion for sustainability across industry is a must!
Graduate/ post-graduate degree in related field e.g. Sustainability, Textiles.
Experience in the same or a similar position required within textiles or related industry.
Knowledge of sustainability and certification programs related to chain of custody, textiles, tourism & travel highly advantageous.
Completed the ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Course highly advantageous.
Completed other relevant courses highly advantageous e.g. Earth Check.
Experience in auditing preferred.
Demonstrable experience with quality systems and accreditations.
Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
Adaptability in dynamic environments.
Conflict resolution skills (ideally in an audit scenario).
Customer service and project management skills.
A problem-solving approach and ability to think in holistic manner.
Strong communication and relationship management skills.
Willingness to learn, well organised and able to work independently with strong time management skills.
Able to demonstrate a high level of competence in Microsoft Packages, excellent MS Word, and Excel skills.
Willingness to travel domestically and overseas.
Ideally hold a valid driving license.
