An exciting opportunity awaits a talented and progressive Head Chef!

The Oakroom Kitchen and Bar has set the standard for dining in the Riverina and we are now seeking a new head chef to lead our team into the future. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, The Oakroom regularly trades at capacity and requires a hands on, energetic and enthusiastic chef, with a passion for modern Australian cuisine.

Working with a well established team, you will take charge of menu writing and costing, rostering, ordering and all workplace safety and hygiene requirements. Our current head chef will stay on board for as long as necessary to ensure a smooth handover.

The Townhouse strives to ensure our staff live the work/life balance that suits them, and our restaurant is always closed for public holidays, including Christmas and New years. We believe chefs can have a life too!

We understand that transitioning to a new role takes time. This position does not require an immediate start, and we are happy to accommodate a start date that works best for you, within a reasonable timeframe.
