About the role:

Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) looking for flexible work in a dynamic and supportive General Practice setting? Maitland Road Surgery, Cessnock next to Beautiful Hunter Valley is a reputable General Practice committed to providing high quality patient centered care for our Patients. We are a vibrant and supportive Practice looking for a new Nurse to be part of our Team of 4 GP’s and 2 RN's. The ideal candidate will be a skilled and adaptable RN who has previous Practice Nurse experience and a minimum of 3 years post graduate experience.

This Position is Permanent part-time, 2 days per week (Days to be confirmed).

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting our GPs with a variety of clinical tasks, including but not limited to:

Duties:

Assessment, Planning, and implementation of care

Acute and Chronic disease Management

Childhood Immunisations and vaccinations

Wound care / Dressings

Assisting in minor procedures

Health Assessments

Care plans

Diabetic checks

INR checks

Removal of sutures

Managing Medical supplies

Stock Taking

Patient education

Care and management of acutely unwell patients.

Front desk/Reception administrations duties as required from time to time
