We are looking for a switched-on, experienced, detail oriented person to join our close-knit team. Our company specializes in providing waste management services, so experience in the construction or transport industry is preferred, but is not required.

Location
Our office is in Pinkenba. On site parking is available, unfortunately there is no public transport - only apply for the job if this location suits you.
Working Hours
We are offering a mandatory alternating roster with working hours being between 6:30am to 3:30pm and 8am to 5pm. There is weekend work available after the probation period has ended.
The Ideal Candidate
Is a glass half-full, problem solver. Is ridiculously organized, attention to detail, I mean obsessed and proud of it. Cool, calm and collected under pressure. Can talk, I mean really talk (and make sense)
The Nitty Gritty Of The Job
We have built our business by providing good old-fashioned customer service with a focus on developing long-term relationships with our clients. The role requires adaptive communication skills and an ability to build excellent rapport with a broad spectrum of personality types, whether they are cash customers or large Tier 1 firms. The ideal person will be heavily customer focused and have a positive attitude to work, with a very strong attention to detail in order to accurately process job bookings.
· Act as the first point of contact in a team to handle customer enquiries, take orders through telephone and email correspondence.
· The job primarily involves handling job bookings and entering these accurately into the job management software.
· Ability to work within a high volume, fast-paced environment.
· Excellent multitasking, strong computer skills to ensure orders are entered accurately, and customer enquiries are met in a timely manner.
· Great time management skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· The ability to adapt effectively to changing situations and deal with any problems, which may arise.
· Resilient personality and good sense of humour, not easily offended.
· Ad hoc sales and administrative tasks as required.
We require a person to have a cheerful disposition and to have prior experience in a customer service orientated role. We are willing to train a person who has the right personality and skills for the role, so no prior experience in the waste sector is required. Initial internal training will be provided, as well as “ride along” training days once employed.
