Customer Service Officer

Permanent Full Time Role

7am to 3.30pm M-F

My client is a leading industrial manufacturing and B2B distribution business in Carole Park.

Due to the continued growth of the business, they are looking to appoint an additional customer service officer to their team.

About the Role

Key responsibilities include:

Providing exceptional customer service and follow up over the phone and via email.

Entering sales orders, checking stock levels and providing delivery timeframes.

Generating template quotes (after training).

Generating Bills of Materials (BOM's - after training)

General Sales Support including supporting the external sales team.

General Data Entry (Windows based ERP system)

Other Administrative tasks as required.

Working harmoniously with other team members.

About You

In order to be successful for this position you should possess:

Exceptional customer service, written and verbal communication skills.

Good attention to detail and data entry skills.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Intermediate level Excel and MS office skills (role would suit someone who likes maths)

Good level of computer literacy.

A can do attitude.

While a background in B2B customer service is highly desirable, we are alos interested in speaking with candidates with excellent tenure in retail or hospitality who are looking to transition into an admin and customer service type role.

My client is a blue collar manufacturing business and this role would suit the type of person who is comfortable dealing with blue collar employees and customers in general. The culture of the business is one where people work hard and are respectful but also have fun and don't take themselves too seriously.

This is a new office based role.

Preference will be given to candidates living with a 30 min commute of Carole Park and due to the lack of public transport, you must have access to vehicle unless you live very closeby.
