Role: Finance Director
Location: Parramatta, Western Sydney
Salary: $180,000 - $200,000 + Super + Bonus
Work Type: Full Time, Permanent (5 days in office)

Reporting directly to the COO, the Finance Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and partnering with the executive team to support long-term success. This is not a role for someone who wants to sit in a corner-this is a leadership opportunity for someone confident, personable, and highly engaged with the wider business.

The Opportunity

As Finance Director, you will have ownership of the full finance function and act as a true business partner to the Executive Leadership Team. Your remit will span everything from core financial reporting to strategic planning, commercial analysis, cashflow management, and team leadership.

The business has clear growth ambitions and is looking for a finance leader who can provide not just oversight, but vision.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and 5-year planning
• Presenting financial insights to the Board and executive team
• Driving commercial and strategic decision-making through strong analysis
• Overseeing tax, audit, treasury, and compliance functions
• Managing banking and borrowing relationships
• Supporting risk management and implementing strong governance
• Leading and mentoring a finance team across AP, AR, and accounting
• Playing a key role in business-wide projects and strategic initiatives
• Engaging with staff across the business - from the warehouse to the Boardroom

About You

This role suits a confident, energetic Finance Leader who thrives in a collaborative environment. You'll be the type of person who enjoys walking the floor, speaking to everyone from junior staff to executives, and bringing numbers to life in a commercial and accessible way.

To be successful, you'll need:

• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, ideally in a commercial setting
• CA or CPA qualification (MBA a bonus)
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills
• Proven experience in business partnering and strategic financial support
• Strong systems knowledge and commercial acumen
• Experience in multi-entity or complex group environments is advantageous
