About the Role

Reporting to Senior Financial Controller and work closely with the Managing Director, you will oversee the full range of finance operations, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of financial reporting.

The Finance Manager will lead key functions including develop team capabilities through mentoring and coaching, manage productivity, management accounting, statutory and internal financial reporting, and asset accounting.

Key responsibility will include:

Oversee daily transactions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable/receivable, general ledger bank reconciliations general ledger, and taxes

Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses for management and stakeholders

Prepare budgeting reports, and periodic forecasts, providing insights and recommendations

Monitor cash flow ensuring the company has adequate liquidity for ongoing operations ad develop strategies for optimizing cash operations

Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested

Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department

Organize financial data into useable information and maintain updated records

Track the progress of financial and accounting objectives

Establish accounting policies and procedures, aligned with company’s targets

Ensure compliance with the local regulations and Internal Standard Operating Procedures

Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end

Liaise with consultants, tax agents, clients, suppliers and banks

Looking into strengthening current internal control and process improvement

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience as Financial Manager (Min 10 years’ experience in accounting roles)

Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, taxes laws and regulations

Team management skills

Adaptability to working independently, collaboratively and proactively

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet competing deadlines

Ability to problem solve or find solutions

Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

Proficient in MS Office (strong Microsoft Excel command is a must)

Desirable: background in industries with inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS) and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV
