This role will suit someone who has a passion for events and experience working within this space.
This business critical role, will see you being the glue that holds the office together.

The role will give you lots of variety, whilst having a focus on events.

Responsibilities
Will include but are not limited to:

  • General office management duties.
  • Organise calendar invites for speakers with logistics information.
  • Organise calls ahead of events with panellists to organise content.
  • Management registrations through the event website.
  • Liaise with the external events coordinator, to ensure everything is on track.
  • Manage the administration related to the subscriptions and ensure this is kept up to date.
  • Communicate with representatives regarding future events.
  • Ensure the database and member information is keep accurate and up to date.
  • Liaising with speakers as required and managing communication.
  • Manage social media pages for the business.
  • Assist in the creation of online brochures, by collating photos, bios and advertisements.
  • Work with the designer to produce marketing collateral.
  • Collating and updating of business information for business sales and ensuring all distribution is up to date and deadlines are met.

About you
To ensure success in the role you will:

  • Possess excellent communication skills, verbal and written, confident communicating at all levels.
  • Have an interest/or some previous experience in marketing and eager to assist in within this area.
  • Happy to roll your sleeves up to get the job done, working well within a team environment.
  • Happy building relationships and a be a 'people person', as this role will regularly be dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Proven organisational skills, due to this being such a varied role, you will need to ensure you are keeping on top of everything required in the role.
  • Possess a solid administrative back ground to ensure success in this role.
  • Along with the above mentioned attributes, you will possess excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise in an ever changing environment.
  • Have strong IT skills, as you will be working with a number of IT applications, including the company database, social media platforms and an events management system to name a few.
  • Initiative is a must to be successful in this role!
