Recruitment Administrator
- Permanent part-time or full-time opportunity, minimum of 30 hours per week (could be within school hours)
- Hybrid role working from our Head Office in Brisbane CBD (2 days per week) + work from home (2-3 days per week)
- Salary of $65-70k FTE + Super + PD Allowance
We are looking for an engaging and warm-natured Recruitment Administrator to deliver hands-on assistance across multiple stages of the candidate and employee lifecycle. This newly created role will play an important element in supporting best practice recruitment and selection, driving a positive candidate experience. You will come with the natural ability to build rapport with people from all walks of life and enthusiasm for connecting with people every day. You will be provided with all the support and development required to be successful in your role, with flexible working available. In this role you will:
- Supporting the Talent & HR Advisor, assist with end-to-end recruitment efforts from posting job advertisements, managing talent pools, preparing employment offers and more!
- Conduct engaging and informative phone screenings to determine candidate suitability
- Ensure an outstanding candidate experience at every touch point of the recruitment and onboarding process, through proactive communication and building genuine rapport
- Work collaboratively with our internal teams (Admin, IT) to execute the onboarding and offboarding processes
- Assist with general HR and payroll administration tasks including managing shared inboxes, responding to general queries etc
- Accurately enter and maintain relevant information across systems including our HRIS (Elmo), payroll and Microsoft 365
- Support with HR activities, policies and procedures as required
- Participate in and contribute to a strong team culture across the Axis team, both locally and interstate

You will bring the following:
- 1 years’ experience in a recruitment or talent acquisition administrator/coordinator position or at least 3 years’ experience in a customer-facing role where engagement was key to the role’s success in a dynamic environment (ie. call centre, customer service)
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a natural ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide variety of people
- Ability to handle sensitive situations and information with professionalism, confidentiality and discretion
- An eye for detail and able to work at pace with changing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and ability to pick up new systems, experience working in HRIS is a plus!
- Ability to work in a close-knit team environment as well as autonomously
