A leading Sydney-based large corporate business is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee circa 250 outsourced fleet operation. This role will play a key part in transitioning the fleet from petrol / diesel vehicles to electric vehicles in line with ESG and sustainability commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a fleet framework incorporating policy, process, cost-efficiency, and ESG-aligned strategies.
• Lead collaboration with subject matter experts to design the operational framework for transitioning to electric vehicles.
• Manage performance of the outsourced Fleet Provider, ensuring SLA compliance and continuous service improvement.
• Conduct governance meetings with the provider and internal stakeholders to address performance and operational issues.
• Oversee the fleet transition to 100% electric vehicles, supporting internal communications and stakeholder engagement.
• Review and ensure adherence to Fleet Policy, including quarterly updates to senior leadership and business units.
• Analyse and improve fleet request workflows to enhance efficiency, implement SLAs, and streamline service delivery.
• Engage with business stakeholders to forecast fleet demand and plan vehicle provisioning and disposal.
• Track and report on Total Cost of Ownership, covering spend, budget alignment, invoice reconciliation, and cost allocation.
• Collaborate with Cost Centre Managers to forecast and plan annual fleet expenditure.
• Maintain accurate asset data and ensure effective asset lifecycle management in coordination with the provider.

Ideal Candidate:

• Demonstrated experience managing an outsourced fleet provider.
• Proven track record in transitioning to electric vehicles.
• Strong understanding of SLA governance, cost control, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience working within a regulated, large-scale enterprise environment preferred.

This role will commence as a 6 month day rate contract paying up $835 per day (inclusive super) and will have the opportunity to move to a permanent role after the 6 month period.

This role will be based in Sydney CBD and will work in the office 4 days / week.
