Manager Communication and Stakeholder Engagement | 7 Month Contract

Key accountabilities include:

• Lead the development and execution of strategic and corporate communication strategies that clearly convey the organisation’s goals and government objectives to the broader community, ensuring that business communication plans are delivered on schedule and within budget.
• Support the creation of adaptable and responsive communication platforms tailored to different audiences, ensuring they meet the varied needs of the organisation.
• Collaborate across departments with key internal stakeholders to ensure communication efforts remain aligned with and reflect the organisation’s strategic and corporate communication objectives.
• Oversee the creation and distribution of communication materials, including newsletters, brochures, reports, presentations, media releases, articles, and content for the intranet, website, and stakeholder communications.
• Foster and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, service providers, and partners, encouraging innovation and promoting best practices in strategic and corporate communications.
• Manage the engagement of contractors and consultants supporting the delivery of strategic and corporate communications, ensuring their work adheres to procurement guidelines and meets performance expectations.

About You

• Experience working for an NSW Government Department
• Demonstrated ability to identify issues with a high risk or potential public exposure and provide a managed response.
