Hibiscus Tavern/ Bills bar & Grill is currently seeking a full-time head chef for the launch of our redeveloped Bar & Grill located in Darwin, NT. Were looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic chef who enjoys what they do, have great work ethic and passion for the industry.

About you: You will have a strong work ethic, and your personal presentation will be immaculate. You will be reliable and have the drive to succeed. We need the following:

: Experience working in a similar role for a minimum of 5 years as ahead chef in a fast/ paced high volume venue.

: The ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions with leadership and management skills.

: Attention to detail& focus is essential with a genuine passion for the hospitality industry.

: A love for food and efficiency of the kitchen and production of consistent quality food.

: Ability to work well as a team member and leader.

: Planning of menus, food and labour costing, and ordering food supplies

: Monitoring quality of dishes, food preparation and cooking food.

: Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff.

; Oversee and manage kitchen operations.

: Clean and organise kitchen and equipment in adherence to hygiene and safety regulations.

: Extensive knowledge of HACCP and food hygiene regulations.
