ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a rare opportunity for a Senior WHS Consultant to step into a key role advising, mentoring, and guiding clients across industries on all aspects of safety and risk. You’ll design and implement ISO-compliant HSEQ systems, conduct audits and assessments, and build trusted client relationships that drive compliance and culture change. No two days are the same - and your impact will be tangible.

DUTIES

• Deliver expert WHS/HSEQ advice tailored to client needs
• Develop and implement ISO-aligned management systems
• Facilitate risk assessments (ISO 31000 methodology)
• Design and deliver WHS leadership and risk training programs
• Conduct audits to ISO 45001, 9001, and 14001 standards
• Mentor client teams to improve safety culture and practices
• Support clients in implementing strategic WHS improvement plans
• Configure and optimise client use of proprietary HSEQ software
• Conduct onsite governance activities to ensure risk control

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Tertiary qualifications in WHS, Risk, or related field
• Certificate in Lead Auditing (ISO 45001, 9001, 14001)
• Minimum 8 years' WHS experience, including 2+ in consultancy
• Strong working knowledge of ISO standards and WHS legislation
• Proven ability to influence, educate, and build client trust
• Strong communication and business development skills
