Sparrow Insurance is a boutique, niche insurance group with a nationwide reputation for going the extra mile for their clients and being a leader in the cosmetic & beauty industry.
Due to continued growth, we are searching for a new member for our New Business Team! You will become an insurance expert and will be the first point of contact for new and existing customers. The role requires focus on converting enquires and servicing renewing customers through exceptional customer experiences, all whilst working to achieve targets & KPI’s. Working in a small, supportive team, you will receive full training and support in the role.
This role is a full-time office-based position (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday between 8:00am- 4:30pm. No weekend work is required.

Key Responsibilities:
Responding to high volumes of inbound phone calls from prospective Sparrow Insurance customers wanting to enquire about our policies
Proactively engage with new customer enquiries via phone and email, with a strong focus on converting leads into new business opportunities
Promote Sparrow Insurance’s suite of products tailored to the beauty industry, ensuring customer needs are matched with the most suitable coverage
Identify sales opportunities and follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns, referrals, and industry contacts
Maintain a high standard of product knowledge to confidently explain policy features, benefits, and pricing to prospective clients
Build strong, trust-based relationships with potential clients, positioning Sparrow Insurance as their go-to insurance partner
Achieve and exceed individual and team new business sales targets, KPIs and compliance requirements
Collaborate with the broader Customer Care and Support Team to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients and ongoing satisfaction
Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and changes in client needs to contribute to strategic sales insights

Able to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer literacy with ability to work and navigate complex systems
Ability to work autonomously and be self-reliant
Strong attention to detail and the ability to problem solve effectively
A Team Player with a positive, flexible attitude and manner
