Oromax treats conditions, defects, injuries and aesthetic aspects of the mouth, teeth, jaws and face. Oromax is one of a small number of Oral Maxillofacial practices in Australia to include both a Clinic along with a Day Hospital specialising in both medicine and dentistry. We ensure patients receive the highest standard of care. Located in Kent Town in a purpose-built facility, Oromax is the largest oral maxillofacial surgical centre in South Australia.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Junior Finance Assistant supports the Oromax Finance Team to ensure the timely and accurate billing and collection of hospital and medical claims and the accounts receivable and payable processes.

Primarily the role will be performing:

Data entry

Screening and directing telephone calls

General finance administrative duties

ABOUT YOU

The position will suit candidates with previous demonstrated administrative experience with a high attention to detail and an interest in medical finance processes. Oromax is seeking candidates with the following skills:

Good time management and organisational skills with ability to work within the required timeframes

Great attention to detail

Professional phone and email communication

The ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team

While not essential to be considered for the position as training will be provided, any of the following experiences will be highly regarded. Please include in your application if you have experience with:

Financial software, such as Xero

Working with medical terminology

Working knowledge of health insurance schemes and Medicare
