Women's Health & Wellbeing Coach

For all people in Australia living with mental health and wellbeing challenges to live a life that is meaningful to them.

Position Details

  • Full-Time, Permanent Position
  • Classification: SCHADS Level 3 with a salary range of: $73,883-$79,218 per annum + Superannuation
  • Salary packaging arrangements providing tax benefits available for living and entertainment expenses increasing your take home income where part of your wage is paid tax free each pay, savings thousands in tax each year
  • Location: Townsville, QLD

About your new role

The Women's Health & Wellbeing Coach will utilise CRM coaching frameworks, Optimal Health Program principles and motivational interviewing to support & counsel individuals to improve their wellbeing, resilience and develop their coping strategies. The Women's Health & Wellbeing Coach will assist individuals to build on their formal and informal supports and provide useful practical resources that will assist them in managing their wellbeing in the future.

The Women's Health & Wellbeing Coach will function within a collaborative team approach and will be supported by regular opportunities to reflect upon their practice and access comprehensive training and development.

Women's Health & Wellbeing Coaches will work closely with other community partner organisations to deliver the best possible comprehensive service for individuals.

What you will bring to the role

  • Cert 4 in Community Services or relevant sector experience
  • Proven ability to independently maintain consumer file notes, and day to day scheduling of appointments with multiple consumers
  • Emotional resilience
  • Empathy
  • Highly developed communication skills

What the role requires

  • Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (police check) - disclosable outcomes considered
  • Current Working with Children Check - required before commencement of work
  • Current Australian drivers licence and access to a car
  • Australian working rights
