About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant - Palliative Care to lead our Palliative Care Team. As a part of a broader multidisciplinary team you will help to deliver high-quality, person-centred palliative care across acute, community, and residential aged care settings.
As a Clinical Nurse Consultant - Palliative Care at GSHS you will be responsible for:
Delivering palliative care ensuring compassionate and responsive support for patients, carers and families
Lead the development, implementation, and review of evidence-based policies and clinical protocols that guide multidisciplinary palliative care delivery
Design and deliver targeted education and professional development programs
Promote integrated care by fostering collaboration
About You
The successful applicant should possess the following:
AHPRA Registered Nurse
Postgraduate qualifications in palliative care or a relevant specialty field
Extensive clinical experience in palliative care
Proven ability to provide clinical leadership within a multidisciplinary environment
Staff have access to supportive staff mentoring, education and development programs. Salary Packaging is available for all staff. All applicants will be required to provide a current satisfactory police check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check.
