Bring Your Clinical Skills to Life—On the Ground!
We’re looking for a Clinical Educator to join our passionate team. In this casual role, you’ll deliver face-to-face simulation training and workplace observations across Queensland and Northern NSW, helping students build real-world skills and confidence. While this role is primarily on-site, you may also deliver virtual training via Zoom as required.
Your Role
As a Clinical Educator, you will:
Deliver face-to-face simulation sessions and complete workplace observations at aged care and community facilities.
Assess practical skills and support competency development for:
Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33021)
Certificate IV in Ageing Support (CHC43015)
HLTHPS007 Administer and Monitor Medications
Provide clear, supportive feedback and mentorship during workplace visits.
Occasionally deliver engaging online training via Zoom.
Collaborate closely with students, employers, and internal teams.
Travel regularly throughout QLD and Northern NSW (travel and accommodation provided).
About You
You’re a clinician who thrives on meaningful, hands-on teaching. You love empowering learners, building skills, and improving care outcomes.
You’ll need:
Current AHPRA registration (EN or RN).
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent).
At least 5 years’ recent experience in aged, community, or disability care.
Confidence in delivering and assessing practical skills in real workplace settings.
Ability to travel frequently throughout QLD and Northern NSW.
A reliable vehicle, full driver’s licence, and comprehensive car insurance.
Current Working with Children Check, Police Check, and annual flu vaccination.
Desirable:
Experience mentoring diverse learners in clinical environments.
Familiarity with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
Experience delivering virtual training sessions via Zoom.
