Clinical Nurse Facilitator – ICU | St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital
Employment Term: Permanent Part Time opportunity – 0.4 FTE, (8-hour days)
Location: located opposite Roma St Parklands, St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital is just a short walk to Brisbane city
Remuneration: $55.63 - $59.61/ hr + 11.5% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

Your part in St Andrew’s War Memorial
Working closely with the ICU Clinical Nurse Educator, you will provide education and clinical support to staff at the bedside including the delivery of in-service education and completion of competency assessments.
You will support the clinical teams to develop their clinical practice through effective facilitation and teaching to ensure optimal patient experience and outcomes. The role will also assist with facilitating instructor led hospital mandatory training. As Clinical Facilitator for ICU, you will be part of the education team to provide education that meets the hospital's broader objectives; and be committed to providing education that is evidence based and demonstrates best practice.
The successful applicant will join the UnitingCare Metro Education team, with the role located at and responsible for clinical facilitation at St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital. The position will work under the direction of the ICU Clinical Educator and UnitingCare Metro Education Manager.
What Makes a difference for us?
Minimum of three years’ post-registration experience in Intensive Care Nursing
Experience in a Clinical Nurse role is preferable with previous experience in an education role highly regarded
Demonstrated ability to manage workloads, meet deadlines & multi-task
High level communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work autonomously, and collaboratively within the hospital education team
Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment – desirable
Postgraduate qualification in Critical Care Nursing or working towards / willing to undertake
