About the Role:
As the After Hours Clinical Nurse, you will oversee clinical care across the facility outside of business hours, supporting our committed team of RNs, ENs, and care staff. You’ll be the go-to leader for managing complex care needs, ensuring high clinical standards are maintained, and acting promptly during emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide clinical leadership and guidance to staff on afternoon and night shifts

Support and manage care for deteriorating residents, including escalation and hospital transfers

Oversee complex wound care and S8 medication administration

Ensure safe and effective handovers and continuity of care

Act as a resource for best practice and person-centred care

Uphold documentation standards and aged care compliance

About You:

Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration (Clinical Nurse level experience desirable) minimum 3 years aged care experience.

NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor and support others

Experience in aged care, wound management, and clinical deterioration response

Confident in managing after-hours decision-making

Professional, calm, and compassionate communicator
