A New Chapter Begins – Join Our Finance Team
With the upcoming retirement of one of our long-standing team members, we’re excited to welcome a new Finance Support Officer to our small but high-performing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a well-established role where you’ll help keep our financial operations running smoothly. You’ll support daily accounting processes and assist with a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, all while working alongside a collaborative team that values precision, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
What the Role Involves
Data Entry – Accurately inputting invoices, receipts, and financial transactions into accounting system
Accounts Payable/Receivable Support – Assisting with the preparation, processing, and reconciliation of payments and receipts
Bank Reconciliations – Comparing internal records with bank statements to ensure accuracy
Data Validation – Identifying and flagging inconsistencies or errors in financial data
Spreadsheet Maintenance – Updating and managing Excel sheets used for tracking budgets, forecasts, and transactions
Month-End Support – Assisting with reconciliations and data collation during reporting periods
What You’ll Bring to the Role
Proven experience in accounts payable/receivable or a similar finance support role
A solid understanding of financial processes, with a willingness to learn and grow
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across the organisation
Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise tasks independently
Confidence using finance programs and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems
Experience in financial analysis or expenditure control (desirable but not essential)
Relevant industry qualifications (desirable but not essential—we value potential and attitude)
