My client is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join their Security Operations Centre team on short-term two month contract.

You will work with a skilled, close-knit remote team and contribute meaningfully to operational cyber defence within a critical infrastructure organisation.

As a Cyber Operations Analyst, you will;

• Monitor and triage security alerts, primarily using Splunk
• Evaluate alerts and ticket data to determine genuine threats
• Collaborate with the SOC team and Cyber Operations Manager
• Support incident response activities (as required, not leading)
• Apply sound judgement to escalate only when necessary

Key Requirements

• Proficiency with Splunk, and ideally familiarity with CrowdStrike
• Ability to independently triage alerts and perform initial investigations
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and the broader Microsoft Stack
• Availability to start immediately or within 1 week
