Bluefin is partnering with an established company to find an experienced Finance Business Analyst to support key finance operations. This position will focus on streamlining processes and systems across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger, contributing to broader finance transformation efforts. The right candidate will bring solid finance experience before transitioning into business analysis and will have a track record in improving processes and enhancing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review and analyse existing finance processes, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger, to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and document business requirements
• Work alongside IT and finance teams to implement system upgrades and automation initiatives
• Support finance transformation projects and ensure smooth adoption of new processes
• Create and execute test plans to validate system changes
• Offer recommendations to improve financial reporting and controls
• Provide training and guidance to end-users on new processes and systems

About You:
• Strong background as a Finance Business Analyst with a focus on process improvement
• Solid understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger processes
• Previous involvement in finance transformation initiatives
• Finance or accounting experience before moving into business analysis (preferred)
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to interpret business needs into clear system requirements and process changes

This is an initial 6-month contract opportunity with a strong chance of extension. The role is paying between $700-$750+Super per day. Interviews are commencing this coming week, and an immediate start is possible as no extensive background checks are required. The office is located in the Upper North Shore, with 2 days per week required on site. Free parking is available.
