The Opportunity
Are you passionate about transforming learning experiences and making a lasting impact on students and industry? We're seeking a dynamic and innovative Instructional Designer to join our thriving team at Bendigo Kangan Institute (BKI), one of Victoria's largest and most respected TAFE organisations with over 165 years of educational excellence.

As our Instructional Designer, you'll be instrumental in developing high-quality, compliant educational assets that enhance our reputation for teaching excellence. Working closely with our central teaching and learning team and delivery areas, you'll create innovative learning solutions that meet the evolving needs of students and industry partners.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop engaging, compliant courseware resources that bring training packages to life
- Contribute to products at the leading edge of VET practice, helping identify and capitalize on new markets and technologies
- Work closely with teaching teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to deliver quality products within optimal timeframes
- Ensure course design meets key principles for consistency, flexibility, and quality outcomes
- Identify, evaluate, and adapt existing learning materials to support our operational framework
- Incorporate innovative practices that improve quality, cost, and experience outcomes for students
- Develop effective working partnerships that contribute positively to BKI's strategic objectives
What You'll Bring
- Proven Expertise and experience in product design and development experience in Education or a similar industry
- Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or Diploma of Vocational Training Design & Development/and or equivalent industry experience (preferred)
- Tertiary degree in Instructional Design, learning-related discipline, or significant VET sector experience
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE) - essential
