About the Position
The Executive Learning Unit supports the design and delivery of a wide range of microcredentials and executive education programs. These programs are tailored to meet the evolving needs of business, industry, and the wider community.
Offered across multiple disciplines, our microcredentials and executive programs provide flexible, relevant professional development for today’s dynamic workforce. Many microcredentials also offer pathways into full degree programs.
The Unit also manages the Bond Learner Platform and supports academic governance of microcredentials through the Academic Senate.
The Project Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of Executive Learning programs and microcredential courses. These are developed in collaboration with academic staff, industry experts, and external consultants. This position is a key point of contact for the Unit, so strong professional judgment and excellent communication skills are essential. This role operates with a high level of independence in a fast-paced environment, requiring someone who is organised, proactive, flexible, and resourceful.
About the Person
The ideal candidate will have:
Qualifications & Experience: A university degree (or equivalent) with at least 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
Tech Skills: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, CIA Anywhere, Student One, iLearn Ultra, and other core university systems.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to work professionally and sensitively with staff, students, alumni, and the community.
Project & Time Management: Able to plan and manage multiple tasks independently, meet deadlines, and apply continuous improvement.
Professionalism & Discretion: Skilled in preparing reports and correspondence, with a high level of confidentiality and tact.
Judgment & Initiative: Proven ability to handle emerging issues independently and manage competing priorities.
Team Collaboration: Comfortable working in a small team and collaborating across departments toward shared goals.
Salary details
The salary range for this full-time position is $93,419.65 per annum plus 12% superannuation.
Please note: The fixed term of this employment contract will be for up to two years, with twelve months' probation. The prospect of conversion to a continuing employment contract will be discussed at the end of the contract term.
