We have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in our Sunshine West office. In this stand-alone HR role, you will be the point of contact for all HR, payroll and employment relations queries with a strong focus on fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job advertisements, applicant screening, interviews, reference checks, onboarding, and offboarding
Develop and review position descriptions, job advertisements, selection criteria, and role-specific interview guides
Oversee employee inductions, coordinate mandatory training, and maintain accurate training records
Maintain candidate profiles and employee records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Contribute to the review and development of HR policies and procedures
Coordinate workers’ compensation, injury management, complex case management, occupational health and safety, and other HR responsibilities such as employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment legislation
About You:
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
2-3 years’ experience in a Generalist Recruitment and/or HR coordinator role.
Minimum Diploma level qualification in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations or a related discipline
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build strong relationships with line managers and workers alike
High level of organisation, attention to detail and time management skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively
Willingness to learn and put forward ideas for improvement while work efficiently in an independent environment
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with individuals at all levels
Well-developed customer service skills and a positive plus proactive approach to tasks and problem-solving
A team-focused attitude, while also being able to work autonomously.
