
Manager Workforce Wellbeing Projects

Reporting to the Director System Leadership and Advisory, you will lead a team in working collaboratively with key stakeholders across Queensland Health to initiate and develop strategic workforce wellbeing projects that deliver on the Queensland Health Workforce Strategy and aligned to the broader Qld Health safety and wellbeing management system and priorities for managing physical and psychosocial risk to staff wellbeing.
In this role, you will proactively monitor organisational health and safety performance, current research, emerging issues and industry trends to identify and develop innovative best practice initiatives in the formation and delivery of wellbeing projects and ensure legislative and policy compliance to address key WHS risks across the health system.
About you
We are searching for someone with:
- Demonstrated extensive knowledge understanding and experience with contemporary health, safety and wellbeing strategies and initiatives, including national and state policies, legislation, standards and trends, and the proven ability to apply that knowledge to develop and implement effective systems, policies and programs within a large public sector organisation.
- A record of achievement in developing, implementing, evaluating and continually improving strategic organisation-wide health, safety and wellbeing management systems and strategies within complex environments.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills with the proven ability to analyse performance data and provide strategic advice and reports to drive systems improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead a team in delivering work health and safety programs, positive safety cultures, and outcomes.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships and effectively liaise and collaborate with a range of stakeholders to facilitate their cooperation and support to achieve desired outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and organise work to achieve goals and meet deadlines, including dealing with competing demands and managing multiple projects and tasks in a complex environment.
