About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Marlu Resources Group Pty Ltd as a FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) Paramedic. As a FIFO Paramedic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of the mining operations team at a BHP site, WA. This is a casual role with a flexible work schedule, allowing you to balance your work and personal commitments.

What you'll be doing

Providing emergency medical care and treatment to injured or ill employees on-site

Maintaining detailed medical records and reports to ensure compliance with industry regulations

Coordinating medical evacuations and referrals to healthcare facilities as needed

Collaborating with the site management team to implement and improve safety protocols

Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices

What we're looking for

A current APHRA registration and valid Advanced Life Support certification

Extensive experience as a Paramedic, ideally in a remote or mining/industrial setting

Strong emergency medical skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a diverse team

A commitment to continuous learning and professional development

A valid HR driver's licence and the ability to work on a 8:6, 7:7 roster.

Our client has indicated that the successful applicant MUST HAVE these qualifications :

Qualification in Paramedicine

Cert III in Emergency Response & Rescue

Operate & Maintain 4x4 Vehicle Certificate

Collect Specimens for drugs of abuse testing
