Summary

IND is a South Australian based industrial maintenance services organisation specialising in corrosion maintenance and industrial coatings (visit www.ind.com.au to learn more about us). We operate from our workshop facility located in Wingfield (SA) and provide on-site services throughout Australia.

We are looking for experienced industrial blasters and painters to join our team. Casual opportunities available for remote swing work with penalties, remote allowances and more. You will be required to travel to varied sites across Australia.

Candidates must be experienced and confident in abrasive blasting and industrial coatings applications.

These roles will involve a mix of remote (FIFO or DIDO) swing works.

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across diverse industries, including mining, oil and gas, water and wastewater, defence, manufacturing, infrastructure and more.

Physically fit and able to perform demanding works, stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks.

Experience, knowledge and skill requirements

Strong understanding of industrial protective coating systems including epoxies, polyurethanes, polyurea and ceramic based coatings.

Strong understanding of surface preparation requirements including abrasive blasting standards.

Proficient knowledge of surface preparation and coatings equipment including blasting rigs, spray pumps, dust collectors, de-humidifiers, compressors, generators and more.

Competent digital technology skills including ability to use digital forms, phone applications, emails and online induction platforms.

Training, licences and qualifications

Required:

Current driver's licence

Construction Industry white card

Desirable:

UHP Water Jetting ticket

HRWL EWP (over 12m)

HR or HC truck driver’s licence

HRWL Forklift license

Confined spaces ticket

Working at heights ticket
