CrewSELECT is proud to partner with a leading client in the Communication and Security industry, currently seeking an Experienced Fibre Splicer/Comms Technician to join their FIFO Project based in Geraldton.

Job Overview:

Splicing of fibre optic cables in industrial communications cabinets and comms rack. Experience in splicing essential. If time allows, there may be some adhoc communications installation work, however, mostly be fibre splicing.

About the role:

• $70 flat per hour.
• Super on ALL hours.
• $90 per day meal allowance.

• Location/Project: Geraldton
• Mobilisation: From Perth only.
• Duration: 3rd June - 20th June - 3 weeks
• Hours per day: 10 hour days
• Time travelling to and from site paid as hours worked.
• Rates and allowances:
• Flights, accommodation, and site vehicle are all provided.

Important Information:

• During this period, work can only be completed Mon-Fri only and we will fly the tech up on Monday morning and fly them back to Perth Friday afternoon each week during the works.
• The site is a high security location and as such will require a minimum of current WA Police Clearance and must be an Australian Citizen (Permanent Resident not acceptable). There are no other out of the ordinary high security requirements apart from these.

To be considered for this role, you must have the following:

• Trade Certificate - Communications or Electrician
• Open cablers license.
• Drivers license.
• Clean National Police Clearance - within 6 months
• White Card.
• Must be an Australian Citizen due to site requirements and protocols.
• Must have proven commercial Fibre Splicing experience.
