About the role

Powerminds Pty Ltd is seeking a passionate and experienced Behaviour Therapist to join our team in Western suburbs, VIC on a permanent casual/part-time basis. As a Behaviour Therapist, you will play a crucial role in supporting children with special needs and their families, helping them develop essential skills and reach their full potential.

What you'll be doing

Implement individualised behaviour intervention programs for children with special needs

Be a team player, work with few therapist in one team.

Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a consistent, holistic approach

Monitor and document the progress of each child, adjusting the intervention plan as needed suggested by the supervisor

Undergoing training to support caregivers to empower them to continue the child's development at home

Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to stay up-to-date with best practices

What we're looking for

Minimum 1 years' experience as a Behaviour Therapist or similar role working with children with special needs

Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Behaviour Science, or a related field, and or RBT

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families

Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing evidence-based behaviour intervention programs

Highly organised and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children with special needs and their families

Able to follow the program give by the clinical director or supervisor.
