A lovely one stop beauty boutique that offers a broad range of beauty services . Established for 14 years we are looking for an all rounder, passionate and confident beauty therapist to join our team and support our salons continual growth.

Located in in Ascot Vale with great public transport facilities.

We are a small friendly salon with a lovely environment for both staff and clientele. We work as a team and always help one another in a non competitive way. We have obtained a reputation in the community for being personable with a high standards in skills, product knowledge and customer service.

We require someone with the right skills who is willing and capable to work hard to uphold these standards to ensure customer satisfaction every time. This is a MUST

About The Position

Level 4 Beauty Therapist

Availability to work min 4 -5 shifts including Saturdays and at least on evening per week. We are open to discussing either a casual, permanent part time or full time position for the right candidate.

If available 5 days p.w we can offer 29-36 hrs per week

if available 4 days p.w we can offer 24 -30 hrs per week

***.The broader the range of skill +the more your availability (between Tues-Sat), then the more hours we can offer.

**Full time will only be offered if requirements such as skill set are met . Alternatively, we can consider starting off part time or casual and move to full time in future if that what is desired.

The successful applicant MUST HAVE the following:

1) Beauty Therapist QUALIFICATION of at least certificate 3

2) Minimum of 3 years full time beauty EXPERIENCE (or equivalent eg 4 years Part Time)

3) AVAILABILITY of 4-5 days per week between Tuesday-Saturday including Saturdays

4) SKILLSET to a high standard which shows experience in a broad range of treatments including but not limited to waxing, spray tans, manicures/pedicures and lash treatments. Brazilian waxing, shellac/BIAB polish experience, lash lifts, facials, massage skills and makeup application skills also favorable

5) PASSIONATE and motivated with good work ethic. Pride in their work and deliver excellence every time

7) WARM, friendly and professional disposition

8) Proven retail sales and CLIENT RETENTION record -able to work towards targets. Confidence in making product recommendations, sales and re-booking to sustain a loyal clientele absolutely necessary with every client, every time.

9) Ability to WORK HARD and MULTI-TASK (such as reception duties) and work unsupervised.

10) Excellent personal PRESENTATION and grooming

11) Willingness to LEARN attend product training in own time and stay up to date essential

This role allows for someone to grow together with the business and can potentially lead to a permanent full time position in future if desired. Once you have shown efficiency, high level of skills and ability to build clientele and create business growth.

Applicants MUST be passionate about beauty, willing to attend training outside of work hours, reliable and flexible with a good work ethic and a desire to continually learn and grow.
