About the role

This full-time Landscape Leading Hand position offers an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team at Urban Earth Landscapes' in Lonsdale, SA. As the Landscape Leading Hand, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the execution of landscaping projects while mentoring and guiding the landscaping crew.

What you'll be doing

Supervising and coordinating the landscaping crew to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery of projects

Providing hands-on guidance and training to the landscaping crew to develop their skills and expertise

Liaising with clients, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure seamless project delivery

Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise on site

Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations

Contributing to the planning and scheduling of landscaping activities

Maintaining accurate records and documentation for project progress and completion

What we're looking for

Extensive experience (5+ years) as a landscaper or gardener, with a proven track record of leading a team

Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, materials, and equipment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage the landscaping crew and liaise with clients

Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make timely decisions on site

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations in the landscaping industry

A valid driver's licence and the ability to operate landscaping equipment
