Star of the Sea LDC & Kindergarten is a 75-place service, located on the beautiful Fraser coast. Our Service is conveniently co-located on the grounds of Star of the Sea Primary school in the heart of Wondunna.
Take advantage of this rare opportunity to join an established team as the Second Early Childhood Teacher (ECT), in a part-time role. if you're an experienced or graduate ECT, this is the perfect opportunity to join a tight-knit community and a vibrant service.
Hours: Part-time - 20 hours per week, opportunity to pick up additional hours at service, or across our network of CEEC Services.
As our ECT you will:
- Create engaging educational kindergarten programs
- Provide children, families and team members with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment
- Deliver a high quality, inclusive, educational program
- Participate in professional and personal development
- Ensure all programs, observations, evaluations and portfolios are maintained
- Ensure the environment is engaging, challenging, interesting and aesthetically pleasing
- Ensure that all policies and procedures, licensing, legislation and regulations are upheld
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values.

What you will need:
- An ACECQA approved Graduate Diploma, Bachelor or Master of Teaching (Early Childhood)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) from the Queensland Government
- Position may require being the Responsible Person on site in the absence of the Director
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, Behavioural Management Framework and National Law/Regulations
- Conversant with Early Years Learning Framework & the QLD Kindergarten Learning Guidelines
