Exciting opportunity to join the passionate and dedicated team at Mount Peter Early Learning as an Early Childhood Teacher / Educational Leader. As a leader in early childhood education, our centre is committed to providing high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged 0-5 years old. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for enhancing the educational program and supporting your fellow educators to deliver exceptional outcomes for our young learners.

Key responsibilities

Plan, implement and evaluate the educational program to ensure it aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

Mentor and guide other educators to enhance their teaching practices and promote continuous improvement

Maintain strong relationships with families, ensuring open communication and collaboration

Oversee the coordination of the educational program and maintain accurate documentation

Contribute to the centre's quality improvement plan and participate in the assessment and rating process

Ensure a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment for all children

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification

Experience as an Early Childhood Teacher, preferably in a leadership role

Excellent knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, families and the broader team

Enthusiasm for continuous learning and a commitment to professional development

Ability to work collaboratively and lead a team of educators

Current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification
