About the Role
Core Talent are seeking an Estimator to support our client's project lifecycle in WA this position is a 6-month initial contract. You will review and develop capital and operating cost estimates working with Project Managers, Engineers, and Commercial teams to deliver competitive and accurate proposals. This is a FIFO role from Perth on an 8:6 roster.

Duties

• Review project scope, schedules, and estimate submissions
• Align estimates with company standards
• Summarise key estimate variances for management insight
• Maintain and enhance internal cost estimate database
• Analyse cost trends and lessons from past projects
• Support estimate evaluations for tenders and claims

Skills & Experience

• Must have a background in mining, construction, or capital projects
• 5 years' experience in estimating or cost engineering
• Proficiency with Australian estimating practices
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement and communication
• Ability to produce detailed basis of estimate documentation
