About the Role

Core Talent are seeking a Project Engineer to support our client's project delivery in WA. This position is a 6-month initial contract. You will review and coordinate contractors, monitor progress and ensure works meet quality safety and cost objectives, playing a hands-on role in driving performance and successful project execution. This is a FIFO role from Perth on an 8:6 roster.

Duties

• Lead civil and decommissioning project delivery on site
• Develop project scopes, plans, and feasibility assessments
• Coordinate contractors, clients, and cross-functional teams
• Monitor progress, cost, and quality against project milestones
• Oversee site activities during planning and execution phases
• Ensure HSEQ compliance and technical documentation accuracy
• Conduct inspections, technical reviews, and risk mitigation
• Support shutdowns, commissioning, and close-out processes

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical or related Engineering field
• Background in mining, construction, infrastructure or heavy engineering projects
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proficient in project scheduling and cost control systems
• Familiar with CAD tools, Microsoft Project, and safety documentation
• Must have a current driver's licence and white card.
