About the role

WorkPac are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to support sustaining capital projects, with a focus on a major de-watering and aquifer recharge initiative. This Perth-based role involves regular site travel and is offered on a Monday to Friday roster. The successful candidate will manage the electrical engineering design and support the project through construction and commissioning phases.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee electrical design deliverables to ensure quality and compliance

Develop procurement strategy and packages for switchrooms, MCCs, HV and LV equipment

Monitor and ensure equipment fabrication meets schedule, quality, and standards

Provide electrical engineering support throughout construction and commissioning

Engage with internal and external stakeholders to drive project success

Skills and Experience Required

Proven experience as an Electrical Project Engineer on large-scale mining or infrastructure projects

Strong understanding of HV and LV electrical equipment, switchrooms, and MCCs

Experience in engineering management and quality assurance for design deliverables

Knowledge of procurement strategies and vendor management

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Ability to travel to site regularly as required
