What’s on Offer

Opportunity – Secure a part-time contract role with a minimum of 10 hours per week, covering evening shifts from 4:30 PM to approximately 9:30 PM on a Tuesday and Friday evening. There is also an opportunity to work weekend shifts between 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM for additional hours

Work Life Balance - 5 weeks annual leave (pro rata), sick leave and access to funded training

Salary - 0.28 FTE role offers a competitive hourly rate of $37.34 - $40.38 at Level 2

About You

The Town of Gawler is looking for a dedicated, community-minded individual to take on a key position as a shift supervisor and facilitating our Skating program on a Friday evening at the Gawler Sport and Community Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a flexible working environment, considering a career shift, or looking to start out in the recreation and community sector.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Day-to-day facility operations

Program facilitation and supervision including Friday night Skating

Facility presentation and maintenance

Supervision of Recreation Attendant and Skate Marshall staff

Customer service

Developing relationships with members of the community

To be successful in securing a position, you will hold the below or be willing to obtain prior to commencement.

Current Provide First Aid and CPR

Department of Human Services Working with Children Check
