To support this growth, we are seeking an accomplished Business Development Manager to cultivate and manage referral relationships with accountants, financial planners, mortgage brokers and general insurance brokers.
Position Overview
In this senior role, you will identify prospective referral partners, present our comprehensive risk-outsourcing solution, and ensure those partners integrate life-insurance conversations seamlessly into their client experience. You will also oversee inbound referrals, ensuring each introduction is handled efficiently by our specialist advice team.
Key Responsibilities
Partner Acquisition & Engagement – Source, approach and secure high-quality referral partners across Western Australia.
Solution Presentation – Deliver tailored presentations and implement referral workflows that align with each partner’s practice.
Training & Support – Coach partners on recognising life-insurance opportunities and referring clients with confidence.
Referral Management – Triage and allocate inbound referrals to ensure timely, high-quality client outcomes.
Performance Reporting – Monitor results, analyse trends and provide recommendations to optimise partner performance.
Candidate Profile
Demonstrated success in business development, partnership management or sales within financial services.
Sound understanding of life-insurance products and the broader advice landscape (or the capacity to develop this expertise quickly).
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build credibility and long-term relationships.
Strong self-management skills combined with the ability to collaborate effectively with a national team.
