The Opportunity

Reporting directly to a supportive and strengths-focused Human Resources Manager, this position has been newly created as a direct result of business growth. Joining a friendly and collaborative team, as a Human Resources Advisor you will be required to:

• Provide day to day HR operational advice and support in line with business objectives and legislative requirements;
• Provide guidance and support to line managers with performance management and disciplinary matters;
• Collaborate with other members of the HR team to support end to end recruitment and onboarding activities as required;
• Assist with generating HR documentation;
• Contribute positively to review of HR systems, policies and procedures, suggesting ideas for continuous improvement initiatives; and
• Support the delivery of various HR projects or initiatives if required.

Required Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated experience working as a Human Resources Advisor, or a confident HR Officer who is open to learning and ready to take the next step;
• Ideally you will have experience in employee relations activities such as performance management processes, or have provided support / coordination and are open to learning more;
• A growth mindset is essential – this Human Resources Manager is willing to mentor, coach and develop someone in this role, so a willingness to learn is essential;
• Someone who is a collaborative team player, willing to take on other tasks to support the team if required; and
• A high degree of self-awareness and emotional intelligence will be highly regarded.
