About the role
selectability is expanding, and we’re looking for a passionate and proactive Human Resources Officer to join our dynamic team!
In this pivotal role, you’ll be at the heart of our people operations—coordinating HR activities across our diverse regional footprint. You’ll work closely with the General Manager, Team Leaders, and employees to support a positive and high-performing workplace culture.
Main Duties:
The Human Resources Officer key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- recruitment for the teams, including:
- placement of job adverts
- candidate screening
- coordinating interviews
- guiding new starters through the onboarding process
- preparing employment contracts
- coordinating performance reviews
- exiting employees
- ensuring human resource compliance requirements are met
- managing employee learning and competencies
- providing support to leaders in performance management matters
- managing grievances in a fair process
About you
To be considered for this rewarding role you will have great interpersonal skills and the ability to take direction and work as part of a team.
To be successful you must:
- experience in human resources
- sound understanding of the Fair Work Act and other relevant legislation
- experience in community mental health (NDIS or aged care) is highly desirable
- be extremely organised and efficient with an eye for detail
- have well rounded administrative skills and experience
- respect and demonstrate a high level of confidentiality
- have excellent interpersonal skills
- good written and verbal communication skills
- experience in having difficult conversions
- proficient in Microsoft office suites of programs, including outlook, word, excel and teams
- demonstrated experience in databases, experience in TRACCS and PageUp would be highly desirable
- have a genuine interest in progressing your career in human resources
- and most importantly a positive attitude!
You will also need:
- a Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (or the ability to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You'
About the offer
