About the role

We are currently looking for an HR Administration Officer to join our People and Culture Team, supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR function across the organisation. This is a varied and fast-paced role that plays a vital part in ensuring our HR processes run smoothly and efficiently.

On occasion you will be the first point of contact for staff seeking HR support, so your professionalism, attention to detail, and approachable nature will be important in creating a positive employee experience. Your ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and to provide timely and accurate administrative support will be key to your success in the role.

This position involves a broad range of administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment and onboarding, coordinating training activities, and supporting key HR projects and initiatives. The goal is to help foster an engaged, inclusive, and well-supported workforce.

Your duties will include:

Supporting the day-to-day administration of HR processes, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures.

Coordinating internal training and professional development activities, including booking venues, managing attendance, and tracking completion.

Responding to staff enquiries in a timely and professional manner or referring to relevant team members as appropriate.

Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline HR processes and participating in team discussions and reviews.

Supporting the delivery of HR projects and initiatives, such as policy reviews, wellbeing programs, and staff engagement activities.

Preparing reports and documentation as required to support compliance, reporting, and operational planning.

About you:

Essential

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar HR or Administration role.

Highly developed documentation, record keeping and file management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience using Microsoft programs including SharePoint, Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.

ACT WWVP card with NDIS activities or willingness to obtain.

Obtained relevant certificate or currently studying.

Desirable

Experience using Visio and Canva.

Experience in recruitment.

Experience as an administrator of Employment Hero.
