The Opportunity
We are partnering with a well-established and respected firm seeking a Business Services Manager to oversee a talented team and manage a high-value client portfolio. You’ll play a key role in driving team performance, delivering top-tier advisory and compliance services, and building strong, lasting relationships with clients across a diverse range of industries—including SMEs, high-net-worth individuals, family groups, and corporate entities.

What You'll Be Doing
Lead a team of intermediate and senior accountants, supporting their development and reviewing high-quality deliverables
Manage a broad portfolio of clients, providing tailored tax and business advisory services
Deliver strategic insights in areas such as structuring, asset protection, succession planning, and small business concessions
Act as a trusted advisor—conducting client meetings, identifying opportunities, and supporting clients through all business stages
Ensure compliance with Australian tax laws including income tax, CGT, FBT, and Division 7A
Collaborate with Partners on business development, billing, WIP management, and client strategies
Drive workflow efficiency and foster a team culture of accountability and continuous learning
What You'll Bring
CA or CPA qualified
Minimum 5 years’ experience in business services and tax within a reputable public practice firm
Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax legislation and accounting standards
Proven experience mentoring teams and managing client relationships
Excellent communication skills and a commercial mindset
Proficiency with Xero, MYOB AE, and cloud-based accounting platforms
