A Commonwealth government training facility located on the Bellarine Peninsula, Victoria is offering an exciting opportunity for people with relevant experience, located in this local region, to have the opportunity to work in the APS. The training facility supports training for multiple commonwealth departments and the roles they are looking to recruit are the Manager, Services and Administration (EL1) and Manager, Service Delivery and Support (EL1).

The roles:

Role 1: Manager, Services and Administration (EL1)
This role oversees all business processes for the facility as well as all project and compliance functions. Responsible for supporting and guiding many of the smaller areas of the facility this role is responsible for managing WHS activities, training records and certification, policy and process review and establishment as well as supporting operational activities such as;

• Recruitment and onboarding
• Workforce management and employee relations
• WHS audit and compliance
• financial management
• security functions

Role 2: Manager, Service Delivery and Support (EL1)
This role leads the service delivery teams and activities for the facility, including corporate services and hospitality services. The role is responsible for managing the purchasing, fleet management and accommodation booking teams as well as the hospitality functions across all areas. This includes:

• Managing team resources, including people, finance and equipment/technology management
• Hospitality and administration services
• Engagement and reporting to internal and external stakeholders and overseeing the quality and effectiveness of all services offered.

The Person:
For success in these roles there are some key attributes, qualifications or backgrounds that are highly desirable:

• Formal tertiary qualifications in business management, hospitality or administration management;
• Experience in process improvement, in complex business operations (Role 1).
• Experience managing budgets and software databases (Role 2).
• Experience working in leadership role in one of the required sectors (Hospitality or Administration Management (Role 2)).
• Demonstrated leadership experience, across a diverse and agile working environment;
• High level communication, coordination and administration experience; and
• Ability to develop and foster strong professional relationships.

To be eligible to be considered for these roles you must be an Australian Citizen and be willing to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Salary range is $139,823 - $163,364 plus super (15.4%)
