Daniels Donuts is on the rise, and so is our manufacturing arm! We're thrilled to announce the opening of our new decorating plant in Sunny Qld. To keep the magic flowing, we need an energetic Warehouse Leader to orchestrate all things warehouse and ensure our operations are as smooth as our glazed donuts.

What You’ll Be Glazing Over (aka Your Role)

As our Warehouse Leader, you’ll be the go-to person for making sure our warehouse is organised, efficient, and as joyful as our jelly-filled treats. You’ll work with a small but mighty team and be responsible for the safe and timely handling of ingredients, packaging, and products – keeping things ticking behind the scenes while the donuts take the spotlight.

The Team Leader at our new Decorating Factory in Qld will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the decorating team, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with food safety standards. This role is critical in maintaining the high standards of our decorated donut range while fostering a productive and positive work environment. The Team Leader will coordinate workflows, manage staff, and continuously improve processes to enhance operational efficiency and product consistency.

Day to day

Oversee daily warehouse operations – receiving, dispatching, inventory control

Liaise with suppliers, transport providers, and internal teams to keep everything flowing

Solve problems before they become catastrophes (or worse – donut shortages!)

Coordinate daily production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines

Coordinate stock control

Support decorating team members to ensure a high-performing team

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment

Identify and implement improvements to decorating processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste

Ensure smooth workflow by effectively managing resources

Ensure adherence to food quality and safety regulations, including HACCP and hygiene standards

Oversee compliance with customer specifications regarding product finishing, presentation, and packaging

Monitor decorating supplies, ingredients, and tools to prevent shortages and overstock situations

Ensure proper maintenance and usage of decorating equipment

About you

Previous experience in a food manufacturing

Experience in production scheduling and staff supervision

Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards

Demonstrate ability to be fast-paced

Certificate in Food Processing, Production, or related field, not necessary but desirable

HACCP or food safety certification

Previous experience in a leadership role within a food production environment

Strong leadership and team management skills

Great communication and organisational skills – you're the calm in the storm

Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and consistency

A hands-on, team-first attitude

Current Forklift license
