About the Role

Due to rapid growth, we've expanded our operations and seeking an enthusiastic Warehouse Team Leader to join our vibrant new office based in Brisbane. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this position will assist the existing team in the day to day operation to ensure efficient processing of parcels whilst complying with WH&S guidelines.

Key Duties

Parcel Sortation:

Receive incoming parcels and accurately sort them based on predefined criteria (e.g., destination, carrier, priority).

Utilize warehouse management systems and barcode scanning technology to track and document parcel movement.

Maintain a well-organized and efficient sorting area, ensuring parcels are readily accessible for dispatch.

Dispatch Coordination:

Collaborate with the dispatch team to prioritize and schedule parcel dispatch based on carrier availability, service level agreements (SLAs), and customer requirements.

Prepare necessary shipping documentation, including labels, invoices, and manifests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with carrier guidelines when required.

Coordinate with carriers and line haul companies to schedule pickups and optimize transportation efficiency.

Warehouse Operations:

Assist with general warehouse duties, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Collaborate with other warehouse staff to optimize overall operational efficiency and meet productivity targets.

Adhere to health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.

About you

Drivers License (required)

Forklift license (required)

Experience in a warehouse or logistics role, preferably within an ecommerce environment.

Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technology.

Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.

Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and ability to adhere to them.
