About the Role

As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring seamless functionality across receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and dispatch. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining safety standards, optimizing workflows, and fostering a motivated and productive team.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain an efficient warehouse layout and optimize space utilization.

Monitor financial and operational efficiency by minimizing errors and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Ensure stock control consistently aligns with system data.

Oversee obsolete stock and collaborate with relevant team members or management for resolution.

Drive a quality-first approach in distribution operations to uphold high customer service standards.

Supervise and coordinate receiving and warehousing, enforcing policies and procedures.

Assist in researching and evaluating costs for the implementation of a new scanning system to improve warehouse efficiency and accuracy.

Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and maintain up-to-date, cost-effective shipping rates in the system.

Lead and manage the warehouse team, providing daily direction and coordinating warehouse activities.

Facilitate effective communication across teams, ensuring key operational messages are delivered.

Allocate tasks and track warehouse performance using reports and statistics to meet targets.

Promote and enforce workplace safety, ensuring all hazards are identified and controlled.

About You

We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on leader with the following qualifications and experience:

Qualifications & Experience:

3+ years of experience in warehouse or distribution center management, including supervisory roles.

Strong self-management skills with the ability to work accurately and independently, prioritizing tasks as needed.

Experience ensuring compliance with safety regulations and warehouse best practices.

Proficiency in inventory management and warehouse data systems.

Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced warehouse environment.

Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting schedule commitments.

Basic computer skills.

Valid LF Forklift License.

Physical Demands:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Capacity to lift and move heavy objects.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Location & Operating Hours:

Location: Tingalpa, Brisbane

Operating Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
