Sales Manager – Civil, Commercial Construction & Remedial Services

AWS Services Pty Ltd is an Australian-owned and independent organisation with over 30 years of experience delivering Civil, Commercial, and Remedial trade services across Victoria, NSW, Queensland, and Western Australia. We have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality Construction Services, Remedial Works, Protective Coatings, Civil Infrastructure, and Building & Facilities Works.

As we expand our national operations, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to lead and drive our sales strategy across the Civil, Commercial Construction, and Remedial Services sectors. This leadership role is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to manage our sales and estimation teams and support strategic business growth.

Position Title: Sales Manager – Civil, Commercial & Remedial Services

Location: Boronia, Victoria, Australia
Reporting To: Executive Director
Salary Package: $130,000 (inclusive of superannuation)

Essential Experience – Must Have:

Candidates must demonstrate proven experience in winning and successfully delivering building construction and remedial projects within the following key sectors:

Civil Works: Proven track record in securing and executing infrastructure projects including roadworks, drainage, concrete construction, and bridge works.

Insurance Works: Demonstrated success in winning and managing insurance-related repair and restoration contracts.

Refurbishment Works: Experience in securing and delivering complex refurbishment projects across commercial and public facilities.

Facility Management Contracts: Experience in winning and managing long-term facility maintenance and management contracts.

School & Hospital Works: Demonstrated success in tendering for and delivering building and remedial projects within education and healthcare sectors, ensuring compliance with stringent industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of sales and estimation professionals

Sales Strategy: Develop and execute plans to drive growth in civil, commercial, and remedial services

Tender & Bid Management: Oversee tenders and bids for government and private sector clients

Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure bid accuracy and feasibility

Reporting: Monitor sales KPIs and provide updates to executive leadership

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales or business development within civil, commercial, or remedial construction

Strong tendering and estimation experience, particularly in government and institutional projects

Demonstrated success in securing facility management contracts

Leadership experience managing teams across multiple project types

Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Business, or a Sales related discipline (preferred)

Strong planning and organisational ability

Capable of managing competing priorities and deadlines

Strategic, adaptable, and proactive in driving performance
